Why is Workplace Harassment Training Important? Because Workplace harassment is against the law.

Our workplace harassment training courses discuss why a positive working environment is the common goal for all employees, owners, and managers. The existence of harassment can destroy a positive working environment.

Harassment includes any behavior that belittles, intimidates, or embarrasses a person and that a reasonable person would recognize as unwelcome.

Many federal and state laws have been enacted to protect employees and to promote a safe, healthy workplace. Harassment may target an individual or group of employees.

Additionally, workplace harassment can be directed toward one or more protected characteristics such as race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and pregnancy.

To achieve a positive environment, your workplace must be free of harassment.  And, employees must trust the company will be fair in listening to any concerns.
